Latest Six-monthly Monitoring Outcomes
IBAA Supports nearly 3000 individuals in just 6 months
Over the past 6 months, we have supported a whopping 2748 individuals marking an increase of 47%. We are so pleased we were able to help so many people! This is especially amazing considering 5 of our amazing advisors continue to work only 2 days a week.
This growth was a combination of:
- the Cost of Living Crisis
- the reverberations of Covid Pandemic
- the impact of war in Ukraine and around the world
- the hostile immigration policies and structural racism
- the post-Pandemic recovery of group services and activities.
We are especially proud to be trusted by the BAMER communities – we continue to have a very high attendance rate with 98% of people showing up on their pre-booked sessions.

There was also an increase in group activities and sessions from 30 in the previous period to 177 sessions (approximately 8 sessions a week across all partners).
The group sessions included:
- Digital exclusion interventions
- ESOL classes (both online and in-person)
- Wellbeing workshops for elderly residents,
- After-school educational activities for children
- Leisure workshops
- Mental health-focused sessions
- NHS and children’s health workshops.
- Financial Health Workshops for Women
Each day of the week, the IBAA partnership directly supports 23 individuals.
We are actively fundraising to ensure we can grow our services further and support even more people and tackle inequality head-on!
“This elderly lady living with her husband who is older than her, retired and on state/pension credit approached us as she needed urgent support. You see, she had many health issues and has been struggling with daily living tasks … caring for herself, and her husband. She was not able to work but needed to pay the increasing bills. She was very anxious and did not know what to do when she came to us. We helped her apply for an attendance allowance for her but got rejected at first. But we did not stop and followed up with another application and turned the decision around. She was so happy when she got the decision. She received extra money and also support with daily living tasks. The most important thing is that she is now able to pay bills, so we managed to prevented her from falling into debt – which was her main worry. Her physical and mental health also improved, and she is now much more resilient and confident.”
